Nu Plaza Yacht Club is a Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited marina located on the Ohio River at Mile Marker 797. It is only 5 miles downstream (Southwest) from the Evansville, IN riverfront via water, and 7 miles via road.
MARINA AMENITIES
With over 2000ft of docking space, it is one of the largest and most modern marinas in the Tri-State area.
It has a convenience store, two fuel stations carrying gasoline (90+ Ethanol-FREE, 87 Octane, and Diesel), two 24/7 septic pump out stations, one mobile pump out station, solar-powered bath/shower/laundry house, ice services, full water hookups (with softened water), full electric hookups, 8-foot wide Trex composite dock surfaces, social areas, and courtesy transportation for transients.

EVANSVILLE, IN LOCATION
The geographic location of the marina, behind Dutch Island, largely protects it from the wakes produced by shipping barges in the channel, and naturally occurring river waves. Our Marina offers deep water year-round.
This is the first marina with dockage off the channel and complete fuel services coming up from Memphis, Tennessee or Green Turtle Bay on Lake Barkley and the last going downstream from Evansville. This makes it a must stop in both directions if needing to top off fuel, supplies, etc. The marina is operational all year, with 24/7 fuel availability, however peak months are between May and September.
As for entertainment, we are extremely close to Downtown Evansville, which includes Bally’s Casino, and Franklin Street nightlife.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Members have the option to store their boats in a nearby Nu Plaza Yacht Club owned warehouse during off season months.
- Availability to pull out boats (including large houseboats and cruisers) in fall and store in heated storage for winter, then put back in Marina in Spring
- There is 24/7 camera surveillance in use in parking, docking, and storage areas.

Don’t forget to pay for using this ramp , slow down when you drive by and stop to make your payment before launching. Cash, venmo and cash app are available. Do not forget to grab a ticket from ticket box and place on dashboard so you don’t get notes to pay.

We are pleased to announce the upcoming boating season and the availability of our 2026 season passes, which can be purchased at JP Marine, Monday through Friday, and at the Boat Ramp on weekends, subject to weather conditions.
The prices are:
$80 for Dogtown boat ramp only
$100 for a dual pass covering Dogtown and Angel Mounds. Single day passes are available at $6 for boats under 27' and $12 for boats 27' and above.

For all of you using Dogtown boat ramp, please be prepared to use the drop box to make your payment. The fee $6 for small boats under 27” and for big boats 27 and up $12. Method of payment is cash 💵, Venmo or Cash app.
Please stop to grab your tickets from envelopes that are in black box , make sure they are displayed in your dashboard. Also please make sure the money goes inside the building.
An attendant will be available for short periods of time since it is a holiday and also wants to have some enjoyment this weekend ☺️. We will be checking out your dashboard so please make sure you grab a ticket even if you pay with venmo and cash app, you can write your ticket number on the app.
